2. Go to site offering “writer available” (like rentacoder.com)… and pick people who offer article writing for $1-5 (there’s some).

Be an agent and put the deal together.

Do you have a squeeze page, a sales letter, an ad offline or online that is not resulting in as many opt-ins or sales as you would like? What if I told you there is a very straightforward way to increase your opt-ins and sales?

There is. You need to carry out split testing on the headline and lead on the squeeze page, sales letter and ads that are not currently performing as well as you would like.

Look for a headline that has worked well in the past and model a new headline based on that. Call your original headline A and the new headline B. Drive traffic to both headlines and track your conversions.

The one with the higher conversions becomes your anchor headline and you test another headline against it. You carry on testing till you find the headline that produces your target conversion rate.

You can also test different parts of your sales letter like testimonials, picture of the product, bonuses and length of guarantee period.

The way to do this is to use software that rotates your sales letters to your traffic. If you are testing testimonials for instance you should have identical sales letters - one with testimonials and one without.

Once you have your results you can go ahead and test the sales letter based on the picture of the product. Most times the sales letter with the picture of the product out performs a sales letter without the picture.

This may or may not hold true for you. The only way to know is to test, test and test again.

Your testing will be most effective during periods or times when you are driving lots of traffic to your web pages.

7 Ways to Easily Find Great Topics For Your Website, Blog, Podcast Or Other Content

You probably already know how important it is to have great content for your website. However, if you’re like most people, you probably get hit with a huge case of writer’s block when it’s time to decide what to write about in your next article or talk about on your next teleseminar. Here are a few ideas for coming up with great content ideas for all of your content.

1. Yahoo Answers - Check out the kinds of questions people are asking on Yahoo Answers. This site allows people to ask and answer questions in all sorts of topics. And even if the question has already been answered, it can give you insights into what types of problems people are having that you can provide your own unique solutions to in the form of articles, blog posts, or other content.

2. Google Alerts - Setup Google Alerts for keywords related to your market and see what people are talking about online related to your business. This can be an easy way to get new content ideas delivered right to you inbox.

3. Google Blog Search - Another spin on the idea of using Google Alerts is to use Google’s blog search feature. Check out blogs that discuss issues related to your market to see what types of things other experts in your business are writing about. No, don’t rip anyone off or copy their content. But you can certainly use their articles as inspiration for the types of content you should create.

4. Search Social Networks - Become part of social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. The first two offer “groups” where people of similar interests gather to talk about their topic. LinkedIn also offers a feature similar to Yahoo Answers, allowing you to provide answers to questions asked by other LinkedIn members. Twitter doesn’t offer anything like that (yet), but they do have a search feature that allows you to find people who post messages containing specific keywords, brands or phrases. You can also have it only return messages that are questions, which can give you ideas about what people are asking and what you may want to write about.

5. Wordtracker Questions Tool - Google for the term “keyword questions” or “Wordtracker Labs” (without the quotes) and you’ll find the Wordtracker Questions Tool. This tool allows you to enter a keyword related to your market, then returns a list of search terms asked over the last 140 days that are questions. Some will be basic questions that might not be worth creating content for, but some could give you valuable insights into what’s on your market’s mind.

6. Your Site’s Log Files - It’s also a good idea to know which keyword terms people searched for that brought them to your site. You can use your log files or an analytics package like Google Analytics to find this info. Since people will often find your site by using search terms you haven’t intentionally optimized your site for, you can actually use this tip to also create content for your site that’s specifically geared towards improving your rankings for those terms. You’ll also be providing more in-depth information on topics people are looking for.

7. Other Forms of Content - Also be sure to check out other types of content. If you’re trying to come up with article ideas, why not see what videos are available on YouTube for your market? Or what Podcasts are popular? What are these people talking about in those formats? Again, the idea is NOT to steal someone’s ideas, but to use their content to help you come up with your own ideas for the types of content you should create.

Designing and creating a good squeeze page (a.k.a landing page) is essential for internet marketers who want to make real money. But how do you make a good squeeze page? Here’s how:

1. Make your purpose crystal clear
A good squeeze page focused on ONE purpose - getting the visitor to buy or subscribe to a newsletter. All other features of a good squeeze page are geared to increase the likelihood of the visitor to convert.

2. Use one page for one set of related keywords.
When you’re targeting multiple types of audience you *must* make different squeeze page for each one. People who visit your page come with various intentions and mindsets. By customizing and fine tuning your squeeze page for each type you can state the exact benefits of you offer for each type.

3. State the benefits in your headline
You want the visitor to keep reading your offer so put the biggest benefit there and follow up by more benefits in the sub-headlines.

4. Keep the page design simple
White background and black fonts gives your page a professional look instead of amateurish. It’s simple yet effective. It’s okay for the headlines and sub-headlines to have different color but for the rest black is the way to go. You may have graphics but keep it all simple, no flashy blinking banners please.

5. Use psychological triggers in your sales copy.
Simple words like guaranteed, proven, absolutely, shocking, etc. Sprinkle them sparingly throughout your sales copy. Your headline and sub-headlines need to have one too.

6. Let it flow
Re-read your squeeze page over and over again. Does the sentences and paragraphs flow or seem like block of gibberish text mashed together.

7. Sprinkle multiple calls to action
Place the “Buy Now” or “Subscribe” button in the middle and the bottom of the page. You can also hyperlink some words like “join now”, “act today” to your shopping cart/checkout. You need to do this because some people are easier to convert than others. If half of the squeeze page is enough to convert him/her then why wait until the end of the page to place that “Buy Now” button?

8. Give the reader a sense of urgency
Use a time-bound or quantity-bound offer. Don’t fake it or you will lose your credibility. Tell the reader to act now or else they will miss your great offer. Another tactic is to increase the price after every 10 - 20 sales. That way the reader will hesitate to postpone buying because the price will increase if he waits.

9. Show yourself
Put your best smile on the page. You can increase your visitors’ trust and conversion ratio using this method. It shows that you are a real person offering something of value to them and will cover their back when they need help.
